Graves County High School Forensics Team shows potential at Marshall County, working hard for success at Calloway
The Graves County High School Forensics Team recently traveled to the Marshall County High School Speech-a-Mania Invitational. Students competed in a variety of categories, including broadcasting, duo interpretation, humorous interpretation, impromptu, and improvisational duo. Hattie Dunn and Devante Alexander placed second in duo interpretation, while Dakota Dunn and Rachel King placed fifth and sixth in humorous interpretation, respectively. "Our team showed a lot of potential...it was the first forensics competition that any of our members have ever been in," said head coach Aaron West. "While there is still much work to do, I am looking forward to the rest of the season and the success we are working toward earning." The GC Forensics Team will travel to Calloway County High School to compete in the Larry A. England Invitational.
