Physical education teachers and school leaders met with a trainer from Project Fit America and a Baptist Health representative to prepare for the Monday, Nov. 20, launch of the student fitness program at Lowes, Symsonia and Wingo elementary schools. Baptist Health has partnered with 15 area schools since 2007 to provide indoor and outdoor equipment and teacher training to boost children's fitness. Funding for the most recent three Graves County schools was provided by a Baptist Health donor for outreach during the “Celebrating Miracles, Transforming Lives” capital campaign.
