Wingo Elementary students learn about agriculture on special day

Wingo Elementary School students, pictured from left, include Callie Lane, Kaylynn Payne, Emma Joiner, and Jaiden McClure. Colors on their bracelets represent various aspects of agriculture. Erica Marshall of the Graves County Conservation District coordinated the event for the second straight year, using funding from the Graves County Fiscal Court. “Many of these kids just think food comes from the grocery store or restaurant,” she explained. “Here, they see it really comes from the farm.”
