Mayfield-Graves County Area Technology Center electricity students, officials grateful for IBEW donation, job site visit

International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 816 training director Jarrod Shadowen recently presented a donation to the Mayfield-Graves County Area Technology Center’s electricity program. Besides the IBEW, the National Electrical Contractors Association Paducah Division also contributed financially. “We appreciate the monetary donation they provide for use in teaching our students,” said electrical technology instructor Brad Tucker. “Without this support, our students would miss out on critical experiences that further their education in this field.” Joining Shadowen in representing IBEW Local 816 and its Paducah Electrical Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee were Chad Rennison and Jimmy Evans (not pictured). They visited the class on location at a job site. Tucker (left) posed for a photo with Shadowen. Students posed together in a group photo.
