Symsonia Elementary School Student Technology Leadership Program team students, from left, Noah Lee, Lilly Beyer, Wyatt Hoskins, Aryanna Vieitez, and Madison Walker pose with their STLP 3-D project. It’s designed to develop fun, new ideas for the school’s Red Rider Store. The students are learning to use the 3-D printer to create items of interest from and for their fellow students. They also are teaching teachers how to use the 3-D printer for class activities. The team advanced from regional competition at Murray State earlier this school year to the state STLP meet this spring at Rupp Arena in Lexington.
