Early Eagle Academy donation from Independence Bank expresses bank’s appreciation for Graves County Schools

Independence Bank representatives (from left) Darvin Towery and Lindsey Shankle present a check to the Early Eagle Academy daycare program in the Graves County School District to administrators Christy Puckett, Courtney Hayden, Amanda Henson, Melissa Bazzell, and Kim Dublin. “We appreciate the efforts the Graves County School District makes, not just in educating kids, but also in being a member of our community,” said Towery, president of the Mayfield bank. “They were amazing in assisting us when we held our Alabama concert in August. We want to show the school system how much we appreciate their efforts in helping us to have a great event on the campus of Graves County High School.” Shankle added, “We’ve been involved in the Community Christmas Connection to benefit a family from Mayfield and another from Graves County. That program is a partnership between different groups. Another is the financial literacy program for the Lighthouse, where we have classes once per month to explain banking, budgeting, and managing money. We host events to help raise money for individuals and families in need and several other community projects.” Dublin concluded, “We’re grateful for all that Independence Bank does for Graves County and our school district!”
