To the Lowes Community:
Thank you so much for the opportunity to lead our school. I am so proud of our school and the successes we've had. We are doing great things here and I am honored to be a part of the Lowes community.
I am originally from Christopher, IL. I came to Murray State for college, loved the area, and I have never left. I became the principal at Lowes in the summer of 2016. Before Lowes, I was the principal at South Marshall Middle School for two years. Before that, I was a math teacher at Marshall County High School for five years and at Calloway County Middle School for two years. I have also coached just about every sport you can imagine. In 2012, I married my wife Brittany, who is a realtor in Murray. We have a son, Roman, who was born in February 2016.
I want our school to be among the best in the Commonwealth. I want to make sure that each student in our school learns the skills, knowledge, and work ethic required to succeed in the 21st century. I want our students to enjoy learning and to instill a sense of inquiry about all things in them. I want our kids to look back on Lowes as a place that really made a difference for them. I want our community to be proud of our school and the students we produce.
I encourage you to give feedback on our school. I want to know what we can do better and your input is important to us. You can call me at school at 270-674-4842 or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
I appreciate your support and I am proud to be the principal at Lowes Elementary School.
